Best Western Weymouth Hotel Rembrandt

The hotel was lovely warm with lots of facilities, we didn't use the pool or spa, however it did look nice and lots of other people did use them from what we saw. Staff were warm and welcoming which is always nice. Our room was clean and had all you needed, I'd like to have seen it updated in more modern colours a little artwork on the walls rather than feeling a little old. Although it was a warm room and clean the bed was pretty comfortable.. Tea and coffee replaced daily as well as towels. Our bin wasn't emptied from the previous occupant, I'd say a little oversight as it was emptied the next day. The bar is a little pricey at £7 for a pint of lager, but it was a nice pint and staff again were lovely, you do always pay more in hotel bars, for the convenience.. the breakfast had plenty of choice and was well cooked available for 3 hours to suit all, with plenty of tables and not crammed in. Outside the hotel has lots of parking spaces and a lovely garden area. Lastly there's a games room with a selection of board games and books round the rear of the reception, great little room for those who want to sit and read etc. Overall would definitely come back as we had a lovely time, thank you for a lovely stay

Most staff very friendly and helpful. Accommodated my request for a ground floor room at short notice. Also provided a small heater on request (the weather was unseasonably cold). Bed was comfortable. Good range of food in restaurant, though plates were too large, so we ended up eating lighter meals in the bar. Short walk to promenade, or bus stops close by for central Weymouth (with good links to further afield) or Dorchester. Plenty of parking if taking your car.

Room was large,comfortable, clean and had all the facilities needed. There was a good selection for breakfast, lots of gluten free alternatives, and the hot breakfast was clearly identified with allergens. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful during my 2 night stay. I thought the walk to town was a fair way but it really wasn't, easily done in 15mins. Having parking was great too.

Professional, friendly welcome at Reception at about 22.30 after booking just a few minutes earlier. Generously sized room, warm and with a very comfortable double bed. En suite shower room was a good size and modern, appearing to be almost new. Everything worked. A very wide choice for breakfast in the morning. All the items in the hot dishes were perfectly cooked and presented. Staff were welcoming and I asked for my thanks to be passed to the kitchen staff also.

It was spacious, very clean, lots of places to sit, large dining room, leisure facilities. Bedroom was generously sized with lots of storage, large shower and extras such as non slip mat for the shower, box of tissues, dressing table with mirror and power points for hairdryer/kettle and very welcome on site parking! We also had dinner there and the food was excellent as was the breakfast the following morning. Very pleasant staff. Altogether it was worth a higher rating than a 3 star hotel.
